At Pets Haven, we provide high quality services, here are just a few things that we offer to make your pet's stay as comfortable as possible.
Heating for the smaller dogs through winter with heat pumps, well insulated kennels with natural wool lining plus lots of warm bedding supplied and jackets for the clipped dogs for those frosty mornings. Dog walking is available to the river for a swim or a long walk/run through bush and local forestry depending on your pets needs and weather conditions. Medications given free of charge. Friendly and experienced staff that take the time to get to know your dog/cat with wonderful personal service. Large spacious exercise areas, 20 in total. See FAQs re visiting.

Boarding Prices - Cats
5 Day minimum booking between 23rd Dec and 3rd Jan. Book for less but payment required for 5. Holiday periods may require a deposit. *Discounts available for long stays 30 days and longer (excluding credit card). Discuss with us for a price. We offer 'paywave eftpos' (including credit card) Note : Invoice and internet banking by prior arrangement only. Hours 7 days per week 8am to 10am and 4pm to 6pm We suggest new clients are dropped off early in the session to allow them time to meet the crowd and take in the ambience. Strictly no pick ups or drop offs outside these hours. CLOSED CHRISTMAS DAY, NEW YEARS DAY & EACH SUNDAY OF A MONDAYISED PUBLIC HOLIDAY (LONG WEEKEND). Dog walking $20 per half hour walk / bush walk / river swim (in summer). A walk per week or more is recommended for those on longer stays. Pet Taxi

We use high quality Black Hawk dog and cat food and here's why!
After years of trying various brands, with mixed results, we now feed our own 'Show and Breeding' dogs these foods.
We're happy to tell you what we feed and feel good giving your pets the best possible food.
(Most other kennels just claim to feed 'Quality foods'?)
Black Hawk has natural ingredients. Australian made so fewer Carbon miles (compared to multinational brands) Natural prebiotic fibre for digestive health, optimal levels of protein and fat, Vitamin A, Linoleic acid and Omega 6 fatty acids for healthy skin and coat. For sensitive skin and stomach, high quality grain free, with Kangaroo as the first ingredient, easily digestible.
We also use Mighty Mix 'nourish' biscuits and MM Dog Roll - which are a NZ made, high energy and quality food, no nasty's and the dogs LOVE It!
We also stock a few other brands Such as Hills & Accana.
We also use 'Butch' chicken, rice and vegetable roll that contains NO yeast, wheat, gluten, artificial colours & flavours, plus it's also low salt.
We feed twice a day. We can discuss what's best for your dog when booking in.
PLEASE NOTE if your dog/cat is on a special prescribed diet from your veterinarian you can bring in your own food.
A rodent resistant container is required for dry foods. We have a fridge and freezer for other food.
